It was goals galore at this years Boxing Day fixture. Fromeside took an early lead with Sam Baber slotting in a low shot at the near post. The lead was short lived when Andy McMullan latched onto a long ball and slotted the ball past Scott Elliott in the Fromeside goal. Ex-Fromeside then took the lead against the run of play when following a goal mouth scramble from a corner the ball deflected in off Mark Ryan past his own keeper to make it 2-1. It was soon 2-2 when Olly Norman got the first of his 4 goals from a rebound off the post from Jack Babers superb 25 yard free kick. It was 3-2 to Ex-Fromeside shortly after when Andy McMullan broke clear of the defence again to score. A quick brace by Nick Comer following a couple of winding runs gave Fromeside a 4-3 lead at half time.

The Second half was a completely different affair with Fromeside dominating play. Within 5 minutes of the restart Olly Norman beat 5 players to score a mesmerising goal to make it 5-3. Norman completed his hatrick to make it 6-3 and a goal from Andy Morley made it 7-3. Ex Fromeside scored to make it 7-4 before Norman scored his 4^th to make it 8-4. After having sneaked 14 players onto the pitch without the ref noticing Ex-Fromeside made it 8-5 before a late Eddie Peck goal concluded the scoring to make it 9-5 in front of a bumper Boxing Day crowd!!
