Friday 30th July & Saturday 31st July - Not much to report just spent most of it on a coach , rather tired now but looking forward to a good sleep tonight.

Sunday 1st August - Today has been a day of adventure. Early rise and short walk to the adventure park where we have undertaken Zip Wires , 50 Foot Abseils , Bridge Jumping and other high rope access. Sunday afternoon we spent at the outdoor Swimming Pool. What a view , sat in the pool being overlooked by the snow covered alps!!! Today is national Swiss Day and there is a festival in the village. We will updates some photos from that tomorrow.

Monday 2nd August - Not so sunny today in fact very wet. We spent today travelling by Cable Car around the Alps and saw some stunning sights. A bit of walking was also involved although not too much!! We also started the practice for the Swiss Culture Night on thursday where the Unit will be doing a Morris Dance!!! Much practice still needed. We are having an Hawiiaan themed evening today - shame we don't have the sun however!

Tuesday 3rd August - A bit drizzley again today but a bit of rain dosn't stop Fromeside. Today we had a day trip to a few places. Firstly we went to the Kandersteg area and caught the Chairlift to the top and walked to Lake Oeschinen lake which is a beautiful glacier lake. Some brave souls went for a swim in the Icy Waters. This was followed by a few goes on the Taboggan Run. We followed this by a visit to the International Scout Centre at Kandersteg where we invested Callum and Sean. Tonight we are off to the Ice Disco in the village.

Wednesday 4th August  -  Hot and Sunny today and we went on a short walk (about 6 miles) along the river and up the mountain to the waterfalls. Very Pretty! Got back to the Chalet at 1.30pm and then headed up to the Swimming Pool for Swimming and Volleyball. Dress rehersal tonight for Thursday nights big performance!!

Thursday 5th August - Wet again today but as we were white water rafting it does not matter too much. Early start to catch the coach to the start of the rafting where we had a great time! This evening we are off to the Swiss Night to perform our Morris Dance. Just time to do one more practice!

Friday 6th August - Last full day in Switzerland. Last nice Morris Dance brought the house down. Fantastic effort by the Unit!! Sports Day today , a bit overcast but dry!! Volleyball Tournament held at the Pool - Scott's Team Champions!! A swim to follow and then back to the House for the Boule Tournement which again Scott's Team won!!! The 5 18+ Leavers are cooking a formal meal tonight. Looking forward to that!

Saturday 7th August - A Fantastic Meal cooked last night and all we have to do today is clean the house and head home. Stopped in Bern on the way home , saw the world famous Bear Pit. 24 hours to follow on a coach!!

Sunday 8th August - Returned to Woodhouse Park at Midday. Another fantastic Expo over. A great bunch taken away. A pleasure to spend 10 days in their company. The Best Expo? The Next Expo!! Roll on 2011!!!
